'Shotgun Karaoke' was Paul Dempsey's first covers album. Whilst on tour with Something for Kate in 2013, Paul began recording an acoustic cover version every night after soundcheck in the back stage area. These covers were then posted online in a series that became known as the 'Shotgun Karaoke' series. This disc brings together the best of these covers.
Recorded in an evening on acoustic guitar in the same spur- of -the- moment spirit in which they were originally performed, the Shotgun Karaoke album documents in one concise collection a selection of the cover songs that Paul performed
Recorded live, solo acoustic in one afternoon at Melbourne's Sing Sing studios. This release was limited and sold out of its initial pressing. It is now out of print.
